Going Home!!!

Today is the day we get to take our little girl home! She is beautiful and absolutely perfect! The doctor said everything looks good...no jaudice at all.

We had another good night. The first night, the nurses had to wake her up every 4 hours to eat...last night she woke up on her own every 3-4 hours ready to eat! She is doing great! Ryan and I have both been able to get some sleep through the night while she is in the nursery.

Here are a few more pictures...I will write more later about how the delivery went for me.

A little smile...

This is Rachel's built in best friend Lyra...she was born 3 weeks ago today to our really good friends up here in Fort Wayne, Eric and Kristen.

Day 2 in the world...

Isaac's new shirt...and little cars (they have been a lifesaver in keeping him busy in our room each day!)

I love her hair!!!! It is so long and soft...it also looks like she has highlights.

Delivery was amazing. It took two sets of pushes...Alicia was amazing. She is breastfeeding right now for the first time. Details later!

Baby-time is close!

1 hour ago Alicia was at 5 cm. Now, she's ready to push...pretty quick! I had asked that we be done in time for the Colts game, but I barely got my breakfast finished! We had a good night....both of us got some sleep. Things are exciting in here as the nurses get all the delivery stuff set up!

Won't be long now!

3rd times a charm!

We are in the labor room catching a couple hours sleep before the activity starts back up again! Alicia has spent the last two days since we last left the hospital being active, walking and eating spicy foods to get the contractions started back up. Nothing had really been happening in the contraction arena, but while at the mall today, she noticed a little water leaking. Funny...her labor with Isaac started when her water started leaking at the mall also. We went to the hospital and they decided to keep admit her to the labor rooms. She is on some anti-biotics right now to protect from infection and then they will start her on the Petosin at around 3:00 am to induce the labor process more officially. Until then, we are catching a little sleep and preparing for a big day tomorrow!!! She's doing well very and resting as comfortable as is possible right now. I'll update more as things develop.

Another False Alarm

Well, this morning we were at the hospital for several hours. Starting at 4 a.m. I had consistent, strong contractions every 5 minutes for several hours. After being at the hospital, they slowed down...the doctor checked me and said I had progressed a little from Wednesday. He also said he thought the baby would be coming this weekend! We walked the mall this afternoon and the contractions have started up again, but not consistent yet...hopefully things will keep progressing. We'll keep you posted!

No Baby Yet

Well, I just got back from the doctor and there has been no change since last week. I am having contractions each day, but nothing consistent. Ryan and I are ready to meet our little girl, so please pray that she will be ready soon as well. We'll keep everyone updated.

Walking!!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted. As the titled says, Isaac is walking all over the place! He started with taking 3 and 4 steps at a time and then bam, he was walking everywhere. He is so cute to watch. There are a couple of videos of him walking below.
I have had an interesting week with my pregnancy. Last Wednesday, we were in the hospital all morning because I was having steady contractions every 2 or 3 minutes. They gave me two shots to stop the contractions and sent me home with pills to take if I had more, since I was only 35 weeks. Today the doctor said he wants me to stop taking the pills on Monday because I will be 37 weeks, so she could arrive anytime after that! I am definetely ready. Also, we have picked a name....Rachel Lynn Threlkeld.
Enjoy the pictures and videos!

I like playing in my exersaucer all folded up.

Playing peek-a-boo.
I'm so cool struting in my Colts outfit.

Hmm...what number goes in next?
I tried to get up here all by myself, but Mommy had to help.
